Pat & Vanna Head to Waikoloa:

Wheel of Fortune in tow

A bit from the weird and wacky… Pat and Vanna (otherwise known as
"Sajak" and Playboy cover model, May, 1987) are headed to the Big
Island of Hawaii, and want you to come watch a live taping of "Wheel of
Fortune". The time is mid-September, but the way folks around here like
their long-running game shows, you letter-shoutin', phrase guessin',
"I'll spin again, Pat" kind of guy/gals best get your travel plans
arranged sooner than later. To celebrate it's 26 years on the air, the
entire L.A.-based "Wheel" crew is posting up at the Hilton Waikoloa
Village, and will transform the resort's Ocean View Terrace in to a
Hollywood set. Over the course of four days, from September 12th
through the 16th, Pat, Vanna and the gang will can four weeks worth of
shows. The Hilton is extending kama'aina room and "Wheel" rates that
begin at $159 (plus tax) per night and includes two tickets to a live
taping of the show. Over the course of the week, guests will also have
a chance to audition to be on a future episode of the show. For $219
per night, the resort will arrange your audition, plus include two live
taping tickets. All reservations must be for arrival no later than
September 10th (auditions are Sept. 11), and a three-night stay is
required. Local residents (or anyone in the Waikoloa neighborhood) can
obtain free tickets to the tapings by swinging by the Hilton Waikoloa
Village on Sept. 12, 13, 15 and 16. The shows will air live on KHON,
Channel 2. Log on to www.hiltonwaikoloavillage.com/kamaainaspecials for
