Lahaina Grill's New Demi Menu For Bar Patrons

Maui favorite eatery Lahaina Grill has taken feedback from enthused patrons and launched a Demi menu at its horseshoe bar for diners that want to sample smaller portions – and more of them. Each week, from Sunday through Thursday evenings, bar guests can order any item from the full dinner menu as well as signature items on the Demi menu starting at 6 p.m.

A selection of the seafood entrees from the Demi menu include sautホed mahi-mahi with Kula spinach, herb infused potatoes, gorgonzola, pancetta and chardonnay beurre blanc; and tequila shrimp and firecracker rice made with southwestern herbs, spices and butter; or seared lion paw scallops with celery root mash, lobster champagne essence and pancetta chips. Meat lovers should not skip the Kona coffee roasted rack of lamb with a light, coffee-Cabernet demi-glace and herb-infused mashed potatoes. Chef Arnie's homemade meatballs blended with veal, pork and beef over penne pasta in a fresh tomato-basil sauce is a classic staple.

Prices of the Demi menu items range from $18 to $24 per dish.

Launched with the menu are new cocktails that include the "Colada Martini" (made with Stoli Vanil, coconut milk and pineapple juice with a toasted coconut rim), the "Caramel Apple" (Hangar One vodka, green apple liquor and butterscotch scnapps topped with a caramel-rimmed glass) and David Paul's unique version of the "Blue Hawaii".

Lahaina Grill also maintains one of Maui's most extensive wine lists, which is overseen by sommelier Richard Olson. The list attracts many customers who sit at the bar or bar lounge and order appetizers – and now have a new menu option. Go check it out!
